Day 1: Athens

Meet and Greet at the arrivals hall, after you have passed the passport control and picked up your luggage. Your private driver will transfer you to your accommodation, located in the heart of the city at the Fresh Hotel.

Named after the warrior goddess Athena, Athens is one of the oldest cities in Europe, with a rich and vibrant history.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Explore the charms of Athens, where numerous attractions and historical sites await your discovery. Stroll through the National Garden for a relaxing walk, witness the changing of the guards in front of the parliament, which takes place every hour, and before returning to your hotel, enjoy a drink at one of the terraces under the moonlit Acropolis Hill.

Day 2: Athens

After a rich breakfast, you will meet your guide in the hotel’s lobby who will lead you on an enriching walk-through Athens' historical center. Stroll through the vibrant streets of Athens, taking in the rich history that surrounds you.

You will visit the Acropolis with its iconic sites such as the Parthenon, Theater of Dionysus, Temple of Athena Nike, Temple of Erechtheion, and the Sanctuary of Asclepius. You will also have the chance to stroll around Athens’ most picturesque neighborhood, Plaka. With the engaging guide by your side, you will not only visit major landmarks and listen to the captivating myths that surround each site, but you will also hear tales that blend myth, legend, and historical fact, gaining valuable insight into the culture of both modern and ancient Greece.

After the tour, your guide can suggest a few excellent lunch spots nearby to enjoy a Greek meal before returning to your hotel.

The Acropolis is Athens’ most iconic landmark, standing since the fifth century BC, and is a testament to the grandeur of ancient Greece. The Parthenon, the centerpiece of the Acropolis, is a majestic temple dedicated to Athena. From the hill you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city.

Kardamyli Accommodations: Diapori Suites

Diapori Suites was born out of a desire to create an exceptional lodging – a hideaway that inspires a sense of tranquility, with high-quality facilities and services – all with an aura of relaxed luxury. Nestled above the fishing harbor of Kardamyli in a spectacular natural setting overlooking the vast expanse of the azure, the name of the hotel derives from its location. “Diapori”, means “a narrow waterway,” in Greek, and in this case refers to the tiny channel that separates the little peninsula where the hotel stands from the islet Meropi, a landmark for Kardamyli. Thoughtfully designed, and built from the local stone, the hotel is completely integrated with the natural environment. Its design embraces a modern minimalism combined with elements of the local Maniot architecture as well as austere monastic features.
