Italy: Drink It In

The only entirely landlocked region in Italy, vibrantly green hills draped in vineyards, olive groves and thick forest shrouded in a rolling mist and pierced by the morning sun define the Umbrian landscape. It seems as though time has stood still here—with hilltop towns that have kept watch since the Middle Ages, habit-clad monks and nuns that wander the streets and wooden chapels that emanate the hummings of Gregorian chants. We invite you to walk among this bucolic scenery and embrace the peace that these people posess. We’re certain that once you experience the region’s medieval magic, you’ll want to stay still, too.
